Privacy notice

This is a draft privacy notice for Chasedown. The legal entity and contact details will be confirmed before launch.

What we collect

When you ask for triage, we collect your name, business name if provided, email, phone if provided, invoice amount and dates, information about the work and dispute, steps you have taken, and any invoice you upload. If you register interest in pay on results, we collect your email. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects pages viewed, device and browser information, approximate location, and events such as starting the intake.

Why we use it

We use your case details to review your enquiry, reply to you, and, if you agree, provide the service. We use an interest email only to tell you when that option is available. We use Google Analytics 4 only with your cookie consent to understand how the site is used. Our intended lawful bases are steps before a contract, legitimate interests in running and improving the service, and consent where we ask for it.

How long we keep it

Draft retention plan: keep triage enquiries for up to 12 months after the last contact and interest emails until the option launches or you ask us to delete them. Accepted case records may need a longer legal retention period. The final periods will be confirmed before launch.

Who receives it

We expect to use a secure form and email provider to deliver enquiries. We will name those providers and any international transfers in the final notice. Google processes analytics data for us when you accept cookies. We do not sell your information.

Your choices and deletion

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to some uses, or complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. For deletion or privacy questions, contact [email protected].
